Using recycled materials

In a society where we are all becoming increasingly more wary about the detrimental affects of the current throw away culture, 1st Year students would like to use up-cycled, reused and recycled materials in as many of the aspects of our project as possible. We have been experimenting with plastic bag and bike tyre inner tube weaving, as well as researching into the practical uses of plastic bottles and tin cans, with great success!
